Fun First Therapy

Happy Monday Friends!!

Some of you may have noticed the change to our name and logo from Michelle Lynn Therapy to Fun First Therapy. We figured it was time to "officially" share it with a little blog and what we provide for services. Actually, we have a few things to share over the next few weeks, including a few new faces, so stay tuned!!!

When I started this therapy company, just over two years ago, I wasn't sure what to expect. I threw my name together, created a Facebook page and threw it out there into the world that my husband and I would be moving back home and I'd be accepting clients.

I had never experienced what private speech and language therapy was like and honestly wasn't anticipating that it would be a fit for me.

Two years, lots of miles driven, an office lease and remodel later...I fall more in love with the work I do in this private practice more and more and I'm excited to share this with more families and therapists over the next year.

So...

After a long list of possible names and logo options, we couldn't deny how perfect this name was and how well it aligns with our mission of helping children connect with the world around them by learning to communicate with others and doing so using a play-based methodology.

Basically, we want our clients, families and staff to keep fun at the center of the work here and really, life in general. ;)

We offer the following speech and language services on a private-pay basis.

A huge shoutout to my husband, Evan, who put this name out there many moons ago. It took me awhile to make a decision, but I'm so glad we chose this one. It has truly inspired me to remain focused on keeping fun at the center of my work.
